A COLLECTION OF IMAGES FEATURING WORKS CREATED BY SPENCER CERAMICS
Permanent Collections
As time goes by I will introduce permanent pieces into my collections that stand out for me as well considered design solutions. While there is always room for tweeking and altering, the design will remain constant. everything needs to be considered.
Candle Collection
A Spencer Ceramics signature collection of wheel thrown vessels that have been altered to a soft textured shape. Encasing a soy wax filling and using essential oils to create a sophisticated and calming blends. The Scents are curated and filled locally on the Gold Coast.
Mini Vase Collection
I remember when I visited my grandmother as a young boy I would always go and pick a flower from her garden. She would put them in a tiny little vase on her bedside table.
My Mini Vases are for those little flowers found in the garden.

The collections are seasonal and change throughout the year...
Custom Collaborations
I love to collaborate with other creatives and brands in my local area. I worked closely with Crawford & Co on developing a custom soap and kitchen block tray for their brand.
Completely unique to C&C I created a slab formed block with individually hand carved channels.
A perfect collaboration and a perfect connection between clay and soap.
Creative Evolution
I always like to be creative and explore different shapes and finishes as I am learning.
I want to give people a different design aesthetic in clay. Contemporary, playful yet timeless. These pocket size vases are cute and always make great gifts.
The Potters Table
Biannually I get together with some of favourite friends, potters, Megan Puls, Frank Void, including my teacher and mentor Jo Norton. We select one clay, one glaze and out of a hat we pick which part of the tableware we get to create.
Our dear friends at The Dust Temple in Currumbin allow us to showcase these pieces over a weekend.

Keep a look out for new Potters Table Dates in 2022
The Markets
I have been attending the local market scene for nearly 2 years. It is important for me to get out and about in to the public eye. Not just to showcase my work but the importance of being social, meeting new people and also new business. The markets have been a great blessing purely by the amazing people have met both as clients but also other local creatives, sharing the love of handmade and locally made.
I have been featuring mostly at The Village Markets in Burleigh, but also Makers & Finders in Murwullimbah and the Tweed Night Markets. Keep me busy!

The next market I am currently working towards is the massive Finders Keepers Market which will be held in Brisbane from September 3- 5. Keep a look out for details.
